I only have the earrings I made to show you today because unfortunately, my partner thought this was just a fun way to receive a free pair of earrings and didn't feel the need to reciprocate.
I had this really cool glass art bead that I wanted to use because I had just one so it was perfect for mismatched earrings. My mother-in-law got it for me at a local glass house. I paired it with brass rings & arte metal from Vintaj, one of my own faceted polymer clay beads, adventurine and coffee jasper. I love the look of mixed metals for Fall!

YOu did a great job, they look fantastic! Such a shame your partner flaked on you.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about the migraine too, I've been suffering for over 20 years and they don't get any more fun! If you need any advice on how to prevent them/deal with them, feel free to drop me an email and I'll pass on everything I've learnt.
Thanks! I don't plan on ever having a migraine again! It was so weird how my neck hurt like crazy, I'm done with that sort of thing. lol
DeleteI want to go and demand a pair of earrings for you from the one that forgot!
ReplyDeleteAnd you're a trooper for putting up this post after being in the ER all night. Hope you are doing better now?
And now for the earrings, I LOVE them! The colors, the different components you used...everything is super awesome!
Thanks! Yes, I'm feeling better. :)
DeleteI am so sad that your partner flaked after you sent her such a gorgeous pair of earrings. Well you know what they say about karma.
ReplyDeleteSo many cool moving parts. I like!
ReplyDeleteBad partner. No cookie.
Hope you're feeling better.
Oh, no. CAPTCHA! Now I'm gonna have a migraine. Going in for attempt 7.
I'm so sorry about your partner flaking. You know how much I hate that! Oddly enough, I'm also suffering from a migrane today. I hope you feel better and we will do a swap soon to make up for the flakey flake!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the concern everyone. I'm feeling much better - thankful that the fever broke and no infection was found!
ReplyDeleteVery bad partner! Wish she'd flaked at the beginning so another of us could have added you as a partner instead. The earrings you made are fantastic! I'm glad you are doing better...rest and take care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear your partner didn't play along. I love what you made though, and glad to hear you're feeling better!
